Fermata Ballet Collective

Fermata Ballet Collective was founded in 2020 as a way to safely house dance artists during the pandemic and the societal movements that reignited the awareness of persistent racism within Eurocentric structures. FBC’s ongoing mission is to diversify ballet in creating renewed paths within dance pedagogy and performance creation, with the goal of creating inclusive opportunities and programming for movement artists and the community.
