A remix of our annual Arts After Hours event, Arts DURING hours is a week-long event designed to help you work on your creative skills with local artists. We have selected five local arts groups to curate arts activities that will spark your imagination and build skills. Each video contains an activity you can do from the office with your team or by yourself from your home office. Block off a portion of your lunch hour and take a break with the arts to refresh your mind and body!
In this video, star operatic soprano Leah Partridge teaches you how to use simple tools you have at home – a straw and a glass of water – to engage breath flow for talking and singing. Leah performed the title role of Lucia in Lucia di Lammermoor with Eugene Opera in 2015. To lean more about the Eugene Opera visit www.eugeneopera.org.
