LCC Performing Arts

Lane Community College offers high-quality performing arts education and performances in Music, Dance, and Theatre. Students and community members can participate in a variety of classes and opportunities including vocal and instrumental performances, dance concerts, and theatre productions. The WOW Hall

The historic WOW Hall has been a cornerstone of the Eugene community since it opened its doors in 1932. By hosting a myriad of local gatherings and performing arts, the Hall provides cultural arts and educational opportunities for all ages and income levels and maintains a supportive environment for local artists. The Community Center for the Performing Arts involves thousands of volunteers, more than half of them teenagers, and is committed to providing arts for all ages.

UO School of Music and Dance

Offering a wide variety of degree programs in dance, music performance, music education, composition, theory, musicology, opera, jazz studies, conducting, music technology, and more, the University of Oregon is known for having the only comprehensive school of music and dance in the state. We present approximately 300 concerts, performances, and events during the academic year, ranging from contemporary dance to African dance, early music and classical to contemporary music, world music, and jazz.

The Jazz Station

The Willamette Jazz Society’s non-profit mission is: “To foster a vibrant local jazz scene through concerts and educational programs that encourage our community to love, study and perform live jazz”. The Grapefruits

Margarite Waddell, french horn, and Coco Bender, piano, make up the contemporary and classical duo The Grapefruits. They perform frequently throughout the PNW with the goal of presenting traditional classical french horn repertoire, new 20th-century works, and commissioned works by PNW composers. Currently, The Grapefruits are performing works by Kenneth Amis, Tara Islas, Eugene composer Paul Safar, William Grant Still, and others.

MEPAA provides access to music education and the arts by removing barriers and identifying resources for inclusion, exploration, and success. Oregon Bach Festival

Oregon Bach Festival has presented the masterworks of J.S. Bach, and composers inspired by his work, to audiences in Eugene and throughout the State of Oregon for more than five decades. In addition to traditional choral-orchestral masterworks, the Festival also presents internationally renowned guest artists such as Yo-Yo Ma, Midori, Pink Martini and Joshua Bell, and offers educational opportunities, children and family programming, and community events.
