Wordcrafters is a 501(c)3 nonprofit literary arts organization that believes in the power of story. Wordcrafters empowers writers and readers by increasing access to community, craft, and inspiration. Wordcrafters offers a variety of classes, workshops, and community gatherings for adults and youth–including story weekend writing retreats, creative writing summer camps, a story contest, write-ins, spoken word events, and more. @wordcrafters #bewriting

Their personal work explores themes of Queer possibility, mental health, nature, and time. Jorah LaFleur

Jorah LaFleur is a writer/performer who enjoys wearing many different hats. She finds herself on stage as a spoken word poet, event emcee, actor, and interviewer. Offstage, she works with youth and adults as a teaching artist. Each role engages her relentless curiosity about cultivating connection through creative communication. Jorah is currently serving as the lead Writer in Residence at the 501(c)(3) nonprofit Wordcrafters in Eugene.
