Devenow Photography

Landscape, portraiture, and nature images make up my portfolio. In 2018, I started experimenting with black and white infrared photography and became obsessed with capturing the scene with my infrared-converted digital camera. Latest focus is catching the emotion of the scene, and eliciting color from the infrared images. Keep up to date at: https://www.facebook.com/linda.devenow.754/

Demetra Kalams

Watercolor painting has been my main medium for 30 years. I began to paint with oils at the beginning of the pandemic when a friend gave me all her oil paints, canvases, and brushes! I fell in love with how the paint moves along the canvas and the richness of color. Sensuality and expression are important on the canvas and I want others to feel it too when they look at my work. My work has appeared on book and CD covers. Find me on Facebook at Demetra Kalams, Artist.

Cultural Services

Cultural Services supports the City of Eugene's vision for an accessible and thriving cultural sector, including the Hult Center for the Performing Arts and our Community Events and Public Art programs. This team works to create opportunities for shared experiences that contribute to the community’s social and economic well-being. We consult, involve, and collaborate with artists through performances, temporary and permanent art exhibitions and installation opportunities. We work with cultural producers to cultivate a healthy and inclusive arts ecosystem through grant programs such as Art in the Parks and Downtown Program Fund. We believe the work of the arts creates a stronger, more vibrant and creative community with programs like National Dance Week and Visual Arts Week.

Art by Heather Sterling-Minder

Greatly influenced by traditional oil painting and drawing techniques, Heather’s work depicts the figure in imagined, ethereal and dreamlike spaces, incorporating allegory and symbolism to convey a message. Currently Heather resides in Eugene, Oregon, where she teaches art and is a member of the Eugene Saturday Market, vending most weekends throughout the season. Follow her @heather.sterlingminder on Instagram for info on shows, vending and upcoming classes.

Barbora Bakalarova

Barbora Bakalarova is originally from Prague, but her true unfolding as an artist belongs in the Pacific Northwest, where she has found a lasting creative resonance. Primarily a photographer, her work in that medium draws upon a number of non-traditional techniques that she has developed through creative play and experiment. Her work is constantly evolving, as she doesn't feel confined by any particular technique, trend, taboo, or subject matter.

Carolyn Bloom Fine Art

I paint from my heart to capture the soul of the world we feel around us. I have come to understand that the profound beauty of this world is but momentary and fleeting. We all cherish these vignettes of special moments that seem to define the very essence of who we are and are the treasures of our heart throughout our life. I strive with my work to offer a glimpse of this beauty. Follow Carolyn Bloom on Instagram @carolyn.bloom and Facebook.
