Black Cultural Festival

The Black Cultural Festival is an annual arts and culture experience that immerses visitors in the rich cultural landscape painted by the African American and Black community. Coco Bender

Coco Bender is a solo and collaborative pianist whose concerts focus on works of contemporary composers and woman composers, as well as a larger representation of the classical repertoire. Composers include William Grant Still, Bartok, H. Leslie Adams, Nathaniel Dett, and others. She presents intimate and charming concerts which delight the ear and inform the audience of new works. Chamber Music Amici

Chamber Music Amici, founded 2009, is the first resident company of the Richard E. Wildish Community Theater in Springfield. Our mission is to produce excellent, affordable chamber music concerts which appeal to all ages—all student tickets are $5. We also aim to promote the development of a new generation of music lovers, in collaboration with public schools in our community, with other local and regional arts organizations, and with businesses in local communities.

Joshua Caraco

Joshua has spent over a decade learning Mande music. He is a Kora player, educator, performer, and writer. An American Jew often playing in Afrocentric context, he is conscious to appreciate rather than appropriate. Josh is interested in global social justice and the impact art can have on uniting people by exposing and challenging preconceived notions. Oregon Bach Festival

Oregon Bach Festival has presented the masterworks of J.S. Bach, and composers inspired by his work, to audiences in Eugene and throughout the State of Oregon for more than five decades. In addition to traditional choral-orchestral masterworks, the Festival also presents internationally renowned guest artists such as Yo-Yo Ma, Midori, Pink Martini and Joshua Bell, and offers educational opportunities, children and family programming, and community events.
