#instaballet is an interactive dance company that brings ballet (and other dance forms) out of the theater and into the community. By using a unique crowd-sourcing methodology, #instaballet invites audience members to offer ideas that are used to choreograph new dance works in real-time. No dance experience required. Girl Circus

Founded in 2001, Girl Circus has brought together female circus performers, amateur and professional, ages 5-75 to train, mentor and create shows with original music, scripts and choreography. Our mission is to create theater that is non-objectifying, inspiring and community strengthening. For 21 years, Girl Circus shows have attracted thousands of viewers. We offer summer camps in rural counties in Oregon and Washington to provide arts enrichment outreach to girls.

Fermata Ballet Collective

Fermata Ballet Collective was founded in 2020 as a way to safely house dance artists during the pandemic and the societal movements that reignited the awareness of persistent racism within Eurocentric structures. FBC’s ongoing mission is to diversify ballet in creating renewed paths within dance pedagogy and performance creation, with the goal of creating inclusive opportunities and programming for movement artists and the community. Eugene Difficult Music Ensemble

The Eugene Difficult Music Ensemble performs and commissions underrepresented experimental works in order to open ears and minds. They work to expand the definition of what music can be and what music is capable of achieving, as well as who is capable of achieving it. The group conducts an annual multi-concert New Music Festival every October and is currently working with the unhoused community as part of their "Stories from the Unhoused" project.
